Kim Garmon Hummel
Chief Growth Guide
As an innovator with a visionary eye on big-picture outcomes, Kim and Team Sauce propelled the agency from a small but mighty team working from her garage into the growth engine it is today. While she didn’t know it at the time, Kim's career in RevOps Optimization actually began early in her work-life as an employee in a few small businesses. It was there she learned a lot about what to do– and what not to do– if you want to succeed in scaling a profitable business.
When Kim set out on her own in 2007, she put her skills in digital storytelling, photography, videography, web-design and web development to work for clients. As clients achieved results, the demand for services grew and the team began to expand. Together, Kim and Team Sauce began the work to systematize the predictable so they could consistently deliver a delightful customer experience at scale.
In 2023, Kim and the team at Sauce Marketing joined forces with Shawn Karol Sandy and the team from The Selling Agency to form Sauce Agency. The powerhouse combination of these two agencies positioned Sauce to immediately begin driving even more results for their collective clients through RevOps Optimization.
Kim’s natural curiosity and knack for solving problems made her an early adopter of technologies and methodologies that enable tactical business growth. Some of her current favorites include HubSpot, EOS (that’s the Entrepreneurial Operating System) and StoryBrand. Today, Kim guides our clients through the work to align their people, processes, systems and data so that they can truly GrowSmarter!

Prior to cutting caffeine, I would have said a Bourbon-Barrel-Aged Mocha from Vice and Virtue, but these days it's a decaf k-cup with Vital Collagen powder and heavy cream, because...adulting.and cream.
Home Base:
Memphis, TN
As a Memphis native, I've grown up surrounded by a lot of good music and delicious food. I like to support local restaurants as much as I can (and there are lots to choose from in Memphis). Some of my favorites are Curry Bowl, Good Fortune Co., Aldo's, Los Comales, Queen of Sheba, Hustle & Dough, and Vice & Virtue. I know what you're thinking, "Kim, none of those are BBQ restaurants". For that, I'm a Central and BBQ Shop fan.
When the weather is nice, I like to be outside with friends and family, and when it's not, I'm inside– preferably listening to music, or watching a great show (yes, Netflix, I want to keep watching and don't ask again!). Some favs include Ted Lasso (of course), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The 100, N.C.I.S. and Better Call Saul, Firefly Lane and Gilmore Girls.

-
I have many pairs of glasses. (Too many if you ask my husband–so, we won't ask him.)
-
I’m a diehard Gilmore Girls fan. In Omnia Paratus!
-
At a party, I like to watch, listen and ask questions because it's a prime people watching and learning opportunity.
