Go-To Coffee Order
Black cold brew, light ice. I know it’s right when it makes my hands shaky.
Home Base: Winston-Salem, NC
If you were to come for a visit to Winston, we’d go to Camino Coffee and people watch from the big window that overlooks downtown. For dinner we’d hit up Grecian Corner (a tiny restaurant wedged under an interstate overpass—they serve the best spanakopita, hands down) and then see what’s going down on Trade Street. For fun we’d catch a Carolina Thunderbirds hockey game or for a lowkey hang, walk the historic Moravian neighborhoods in Old Salem.

You Should Know About Me
I love greyhounds and plan to adopt a retired racer someday.
I've played the piano since I was 8. I drove most of my piano teachers bonkers because I played by ear and refused to read the music. I can also play the baritone ukulele and a little violin, and I want to learn the cello.
My dream world wouldn't have cars. I hate driving, highways, interstates, cars—all of it. If I can walk, bike, or take a train, I will.
I'm a firm believer that music peaked with Amy Winehouse and has yet to recover.
At a party, you’ll usually hear me talk about running, my latest podcast addiction (Everything Is Alive has a chokehold on me, and On Being is my go-to), the latest iteration of my espresso martini recipe, asking for book recommendations, historic fashion costuming, and (inevitably) the musical CATS.
